ODDUA AUDIO Wins “Best Startup of the Year” Award

We won an award!  ODDUA AUDIO was presented with the “Startup of the Year” Award, at the 21st Annual Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce’s Awards Luncheon at Scott’s Seafood, in Jack London Square, Oakland, CA on October 10, 2024.  Allegra Bandy received the award on behalf of ODDUA AUDIO, and gave an acceptance speech. 

Here’s a quote from that speech: “If you can change your mind, you can change your world.  That is what my next client’s audiobook is about.  That is what all of my client’s books are about.  It is ODDUA AUDIO’s mission to create content that helps people make their world a more joyful, equitable, and peaceful place.”  

It was an honor and a privilege to receive this award, and reminds us that we hold a responsibility to our local and global community to do good works.

Friends in the Studio

We welcomed Naomi Seidman in the studio to record voiceover for a documentary video series called, “After Orthodoxy,” that explores the lives of a few former members of New York’s Jewish Orthodox communities, and how their lives have changed on intellectual, spiritual, and creative levels.  This series is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025.

Naomi did a beautiful job narrating the voice over bits, and we’re looking forward to seeing the final project when it is released.
