New Audible Royalty model ALERT:
Rolling with the punches that the new Audible Royalty model is swinging hard.  

Why Rights Holders are Concerned

• Subsidizing Free Catalogues: Authors selling books for individual ownership feel their revenue is being drained to pay creators whose books are streamed in the unlimited "all-you-can-listen" pool. 
  
• Lack of Transparency: The complex multi-factor formula makes it difficult for creators to track and verify how their exact earnings are calculated.
  
• Mandatory Transition: The legacy royalty model is being phased out by the end of 2026, meaning rights holders must accept the new terms or pull their titles from Audible entirely.
